PressLish Terms of Service
These terms cover the services Enricx provides around PressLish: downloads, purchases, support and problem reports. The PressLish app itself is covered by the End-User Licence Agreement (EULA). If these terms and the EULA disagree about the app, the EULA applies.
1. About these terms
Enricx Private Limited, Bengaluru, India ("Enricx") provides the PressLish services. By downloading PressLish, buying a licence, or contacting PressLish support, you agree to these terms.
2. Downloads
Download PressLish only from Enricx or from a source Enricx names. Preview versions are early releases for trying PressLish. They may contain mistakes, and Enricx may change or withdraw them.
3. Purchases and payment
3.1 Prices, taxes and what you get are shown before you pay.
3.2 Payments may be handled by a reseller that acts as the seller of record (merchant of record). In that case, the reseller's terms of sale also apply to the payment, the invoice and taxes. The refund period in section 3.3 applies whoever takes the payment.
3.3 Cancelling and refunds: you can cancel a purchase within 21 days of the purchase date. Before you cancel, deactivate the licence in PressLish (File → About → Licence), then choose Cancel my purchase and refund in the same place; you confirm with a code we email to the address you bought with. Payments and refunds are handled by Polar (polar.sh), which sells PressLish to you as merchant of record; Enricx does not hold your payment details and does not move the money itself. When you cancel, Enricx asks Polar to refund you, and Polar makes the refund under its own policy. Under that policy the payment fees charged on the original purchase are not returned when an order is refunded (Polar's refund policy: https://polar.sh/docs/features/refunds; Polar's fees: https://polar.sh/docs/merchant-of-record/fees). The refund is therefore the amount you paid minus those fees and the tax on them. The exact amounts are shown to you before you confirm. After 21 days from the purchase date a purchase cannot be cancelled through Enricx. When the refund is made the licence ends and PressLish no longer works under it. The refund reaches your original payment method as Polar and your bank process it, usually within about 5 to 10 business days. If you cannot use the in-app steps, write to presslish-help@enricx.com within the 21 days. Polar may also refund a purchase on its own decision under its own policies (for example to settle a dispute), including after the 21 days. Enricx does not control such refunds; a purchase refunded by Polar ends the licence in the same way.
3.4 A licence costs US$60. It may be used for as long as you like, on one computer at a time. It includes support, meaning bug fixes and updates that fix problems, until 31 December 2029, whenever the licence was bought. After that date Enricx does not fix bugs or add features, but the licence keeps working. What happens after 2029 will be decided later and announced. Future versions with enhancements may require an additional payment (section 3.5).
3.5 Future versions with enhancements may require an additional payment (see section 6 of the EULA). You can choose to buy them or to keep using the version you have.
4. Support and problem reports
4.1 Support is by email at presslish-help@enricx.com. Enricx aims to reply within seven working days.
4.2 Bugs: if you have bought a licence and you report a bug in PressLish before support ends on 31 December 2029, Enricx will address it within 90 days of receiving your report. If the bug can be fixed, Enricx will fix it in an update within that time. If it cannot be fixed, Enricx will tell you so within the same 90 days. The 90 days start when Enricx has your report with the information needed to understand the problem.
4.3 PressLish is complex software and features may break or not work as expected. This is why bugs are handled as in section 4.2; it is not a promise that PressLish has no bugs. A request for a new or changed feature is not a bug; it may come in a future version (section 3.5).
4.4 For preview or free versions, Enricx may answer and fix problems but does not commit to the 90 days in section 4.2.
4.5 A problem report contains only what you choose to send: your description, a screenshot, the app's log and, only if you tick the option, a copy of your publication.
4.6 Enricx uses reports and their attachments only to understand and fix the problem and to improve PressLish. They are not sold or shared with third parties, except service providers (such as our email provider) who help us deliver support.
4.7 Enricx deletes report attachments when they are no longer needed for that purpose, and you can ask for them to be deleted at any time.
4.8 Do not send content you are not allowed to share. Remove personal or confidential information you do not want us to see before you send it.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use PressLish or Enricx's services to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, to send spam or unlawful mailings, or to harm Enricx's systems or other users.
6. Your content and privacy
You keep all rights in your documents and data. PressLish runs on your computer and does not send your documents or usage data to Enricx. To start the trial and to activate and renew a licence it sends your computer's machine code, the app version and your licence code to the PressLish licence server (and, unless switched off, a once-a-day question about the newest version that carries no identity), which keeps them (with your name and email from your purchase) to run the licence and support you. Enricx handles any personal data you send us (for example your email address and problem reports) in line with applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and only for the purposes described in these terms.
7. Changes
Enricx may update these terms. The new version applies from the date it is published. If a change materially affects a licence you have paid for, Enricx will tell you before it takes effect.
8. Disclaimer and liability
The services are provided "as is". Sections 9 and 10 of the EULA (no warranty and limitation of liability) also apply to these services.
9. Governing law and disputes
If you have a complaint, write to presslish-help@enricx.com first; most problems can be settled that way. These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bengaluru, India, have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer protection law gives you the right to bring a claim in your own country.
